Applications: The Grip Rock safety mat was designed to be slip-resistant in wet, hazardous areas. This makes it especially useful when the environment is conducive to slip/falls and when employees are standing, walking, pushing or pulling, or carrying items. The Grip Rock safety mat is particularly useful in the following situations:
Cold and slick areas - Locations that are often moist and cold or freezing and in which employees are lifting or carrying items. These include walk-in freezers and coolers. Grip Rock is excellent over metal floors! Accumulated ice will pop off the mat when rolled up for cleaning.
Slippery areas - Locations that are dangerous, crowded and prone to accidents. These include prep areas, production areas in factories, incline ramps, walkways and stairways. Grip Rock can be used both indoor and out!
Wet areas - Locations that are routinely wet (or wet and soapy) and in which people work or pass through. These include areas near commercial sinks, floral design areas, dishwashing areas, ice machines, as well as beverage stations. Grip Rock is effective even when submerged! | Super G has the same basic properties of Grip Rock but has a special abrasive top surface designed specifically for use in fry areas where grease and oil are abundant. Applications: Super G was designed specifically for areas where grease is abundant. The coefficient of friction has been increased so much, it is actually too slip-resistant for most areas. It is recommended for: Greasy areas - locations that are often greasy, oily and dangerous. These include fry areas in kitchens, work stations, garages and production areas in factories.
